The DLSUMC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is one of the pioneering departments when the hospital became operational in 1984. Its consultants are all certified by the Philippine Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
The Department also established a four-year Residency Training Program that has been accredited by the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society (POGS) since 1986.
In 2010, it launched its post-residency and Fellowship Training Program in OB-Gyne Ultrasound which is accredited by the Philippine Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (PSUOG).
