DLSUMC caters to both acute and chronic wounds through its Advanced Wound Care Unit, providing thorough care to manage and prevent infections and other complications associated with wounds.
SERVICES
The unit uses advanced techniques, equipment, and a holistic approach to treating:
- Arterial and venous leg ulcers
- Bed sores
- Orthopedic, diabetic, and general surgery wounds
- Ostomy care
- Other difficult traumatic wounds
Treatment services are covered by PhilHealth, therefore there will be no cash out from patients, making wound care more affordable.
