Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), more commonly known as heart bypass surgery, is performed to treat patients who have severe coronary artery disease that could lead to coronary artery-related deaths.
DLSUMC is the first hospital in Region IV-A (as per PhilHealth division of regions) to be accredited by PhilHealth for the Z Benefit Package for CABG. Qualified PhilHealth members can avail of the maximum coverage of P550,000.00 for hospital expenses including the doctors’ professional fees and post-operative cardiac rehabilitation.
