Immunization Unit
DLSUMC is the first in Cavite to offer immunization services to children and adults to eradicate or avert vaccine-preventable diseases.
SERVICES
Vaccines offered at DLSUMC Immunization Center:

Influenza (flu) vaccine | One (1) dose every year |
Varicella (chickenpox) vaccine | Two (2) doses for adults who have not had chickenpox |
Pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine | One (1) dose for adults 65 years and older and for people with chronic conditions or weakened immune systems. Some people may need two (2) doses. |
Hepatitis B vaccine | Three (3) doses of Hepatitis B are recommended for: health care professionals; patients receiving hemodialysis; injection drug users; and individuals with chronic liver disease or end-stage renal disease |
Hepatitis A vaccine | Two (2) doses of Hepatitis A vaccine are recommended for: people with chronic liver disease; people with blood clotting disorders; people who live with or care for a person with Hepatitis A; people who anticipate close, personal contact with an international adoptee from a country where Hepatitis A is prevalent; injection drug users; and international travelers |
Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) vaccine | Two (2) doses |
Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap)/Td vaccine | One (1) tetanus booster every 10 years One (1) dose of Tdap should replace a single tetanus booster for adults under 65 years |
Meningococcal vaccine | One (1) dose for adults with a damaged or removed spleen; people with immune system disorders; military recruits; microbiologists exposed to meningococcal bacteria; and international travelers. Those who have an increased risk of infection may need to be revaccinated. |
Typhoid vaccine | One (1) dose; booster every 2-3 years |
Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine | Three (3) doses for women aged 19-26. Men may also get three (3) doses to protect against genital warts. |
