Tunay na Kapayapaan, Kalayaan Mula sa Katiwalian: Mga Kwento ng Paglaban

Sa pagdiriwang ng International Lasallian Days for Peace at Lasallian Peace Month for Democracy and Human Rights, matagumpay na idinaos ng De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute (DLSMHSI) ang forum na  “Tunay na Kapayapaan, Kalayaan Mula sa Katiwalian: Mga Kwento ng Paglaban.”

Layunin ng pagtitipon na hikayatin ang bawat Lasalyano na maging mapanuri, matatag, at matuwid sa gitna ng mga hamon sa lipunan. Tampok sa nasabing programa sina Prof. Heidi Mendoza, dating Commissioner ng Commission on Audit (COA), at Adam Palo, DLSMHSI alumnus at dating student leader, na parehong nagbigay-inspirasyon sa komunidad upang maging mapanuri, manindigan sa tama, at lumaban sa katiwalian.


Matapos ang talakayan, nagsagawa ang mga Lasallian students at partners ng candlelight march at simbolikong protesta sa kahabaan ng Gov. D. Mangubat Avenue bilang panawagan para sa katarungan at katapatan sa pamumuno.


Ang DLSMHSI kasama ang buong komunidad at mga karatig na paaralan ay nananatiling matatag sa kanilang misyon na itaguyod ang katotohanan, katarungan, at kapayapaan.
